From the beginning of her career as a pediatric occupational therapist—working in home care with medically complex children, then in sensory and orthopedic clinics, and now at a preschool—Joy has been dedicated to helping children grow in ways that feel natural and meaningful to them. She believes that children make the most progress when therapy is personalized, unhurried, and delivered in environments where they feel comfortable. This philosophy inspired the creation of Grow with Nuri, a place where parents are guided and empowered to support their children’s development, navigating services, schools, and resources with confidence, so every child can truly thrive in their own world.

Sensory Needs

Children experience the world in many ways, and some may struggle with sights, sounds, textures, or movement. Our sessions provide personalized strategies to help children regulate their senses, feel safe, and confidently navigate daily life.

Behavioral

Challenges with attention, self-regulation, or emotional expression can make routines stressful. We help children develop coping skills, understand their feelings, and build independence—all in a supportive environment tailored to their pace.

Physical

Coordination, strength, and fine or gross motor skills are essential for play and daily activities. Through individualized, play-based activities, we help children strengthen their motor abilities, gain confidence, and succeed in both structured and everyday tasks.
